July 14

June 1st — Busy Mom service will open

July 7th —  Last day to register for the Busy Mom service.

IMPORTANT:

The Busy Mom tagging service operates off of a waiting list. All REGISTERED Busy Mom Consignors are placed onto the waiting list. When you are ready for a tagger to pick up your items, you will be taken off of the waiting list and assigned a tagger.   Busy mom consignors will be taken in the order of when they are ready for a pick up.

We make no guarantees that you will receive a tagger. If you are not ready for a tagger in a timely manner, you risk the possibility of us not having a tagger available for you.

The Busy Mom tagging service only has space for a limited number of consignors. Once our taggers are full with clients, we will not be taking any more consignors off of the waiting list.  We recommend having your items ready for a tagger to pick up as quickly as possible to ensure that you receive a tagger.

The last day for a pick up will be on July 14th.  NO PICK UPS will happen AFTER the deadline. This deadline is for BOTH events.

Space is limited.

Things to know about the Busy Mom tagging service.

  • The material fee is $25 per event.  Due to rising gas prices and the cost of supplies going up, we had to increase the material fee.  (Please note: The $25 covers your first 250 items. There will be a 10 cent material fee charged for each additional tagged item over the first 250 items.) If you want to consign at both events, the material fee would be $25 for the children;s and $25 for the teen/adult.
  • Your tagger will only do ONE pick up of your items. If you have enough items to warrant a second pick up, you will be charged 50 cents per mile (round trip) your tagger has to travel to pick up your items.  The mileage fee will be deducted from your check.
  • You will NOT be given a tagger UNTIL you are ready for a pick up.  If you tell us you are ready for a pick up, you MUST have a pick up scheduled with your tagger within 3 days. If you delay your pick up with your tagger, you will go back onto the waiting list. We operate off of a waiting list. Consignors are assigned a tagger in the order they are ready for a pick up. Our tagging service does have limited space. Taking a long time to be ready for a pick up, could put you at risk of not getting a tagger for the event.
  • If you are consigning at the Teen/Adult event, you MUST sell more than just clothing.  Clothing can not make up more than 50% of your items. (Example:  If you have a total of 100 items to sell then only 50 of those items can be clothing.) A consignor who only sells adult clothing tends not to do as well as consignors who sell in multiple categories. Your tagger puts a lot of effort into tagging your items and they want you to be successful.
  • You need to make sure your items are in good clean condition.  Do not just give us items and expect your tagger to go through it and discard stained clothing or broken items.  There WILL BE a $20 fee if you give your tagger more than 20 stained, broken, dirty items.

How it works

  • Register to consign

  • Email or Facebook message us that you want to use the Busy Mom service

  • You will give your tagger $25 to help cover the cost of hangers, tape, safety pins, card stock paper and other items to prepare your items.

  • The tagger will do the work of hanging clothing, listing items in the online system, pricing and tagging the items. They will even drop off your items.

  • After the event is over, you pick up your check for 40% of your sales!

Busy Mom FAQs

Is it really that simple? Someone will pick up my items and tag them?

Yep, it is really that simple. After you are registered to consign, gather up the items you want to sell. Send us an email or Facebook message to ask for a tagger and we will hook you up wih a tagger!

All that we ask is that you make sure all the clothing is clean and other items are clean and in working condition.

What percentage will I get using the Busy Mom service?

You will receive 40% of your sales.  Checks can be picked up the Monday after the event is over or we can mail your check to you.

Do I need to have the clothing on hangers?

No, your tagger will hang your clothing on hangers for you.

You will need to give your tagger $25 to help cover the cost of things they will need like hangers, tape, safety pins, card stock paper, ink and other supplies.

If you go over 250 items, there will be an additional $5 material fee that will be deducted from your check for each additional 50 items.

Is there a limit on how many items I can consign?

For the Children’s event, there is a  limit of 10 DVDs/Blu-Rays, limit of 5 Build a Bear, limit of 5 Squishmallows and limit of 5 pillow pets.

For the Teen/Adult event, there are limits on clothing items. You can consign 50 junior sized clothing, 50 women’s clothing and 50 mens clothing.

To view a list of all accepted items, click here.

If you go over 250 items for either event, there will be an additional .10 cents per item that will be deducted from your check. For example, if you have 300 items, that is 50 items over the 250 limit. 50 times .10 cents would be an additional $5.00.

Why is there a material fee?

The material fee helps to cover the cost of supplies your tagger will need to prep your items. Things like wire hangers, safety pins, tape, card stock paper, printer ink, zip lock baggies and other items.

If you were consigning on your own, you would be responsible for getting the supplies on your own.

The material fee is $25 for the first 250 items and 10 cents for each additional tagged over the 250 and will be deducted from your check.

Can I be a Crew Member too?

No, unfortunately Busy Mom Consignors do not qualify for crew member shifts.

Do I get to shop at the Consignor pre-sale?

Absouletly! You will get your consignor shopping pass when your tagger picks up your items.
