Item Entry Deadlines for Back to School Events 2026

DEADLINE for Children’s Event: Sun. July 19th at Noon

DEADLINE for Teen/Adult Event: Sun. July 26th at 4pm

 Consignors drop off days for Back to School 2026 event

Children’s Event — Tues. July 21st 11:30am to 8pm

Teen/Adult Event — Tues. July 28th 2:30pm to 8pm

Restock Consignor Drop off days

Drop off and Pick up Procedures 

Preparing for Drop off

  • For the Children’s Event — Have all clothing bound by size and gender.

  • Box together ALL items that require batteries and need to plug in so they can get inspected and the tag stamped.

  • For the TEEN/ADULT event ONLY — clothing must be bound together by category (juniors, womens, mens, Scrubs, formal wear, and jeans must be separated out).  Items will be countd to verify that you are within the clothing limits for each category. If you have more than your limit of items, you will be fined and not allowed to put out your clothing items.

  • Box up like items together

  • Separate out your 5 item guarantee items for inspection

  • Be prepared to assemble furniture items

 Drop off Procedures

  • Enter the Fairgrounds using the entrance off of US 41.

  • Come inside the Fairgrounds to check in.

  • Be sure to have your cell phone with you.

  • Sign the Drop off paperwork.

  • Take a picture of your Consignor ID.

  • Bring in your items and show your Consignor ID to the worker at the Front Door.

  • Take all the items that require batteries or need to be plugged in to the inspection station so they can be checked and have the tags stamped.

  • FOR THE TEEN/ADULT EVENT ONLY! — You must have your clothing separate by category types (juniors, womens, mens, scrubs, formal wear and jeans) and take your items to the counting station. Your items will be counted to verify you have not gone over the clothing limits and that items are listed in the right category. Any items not listed in the right category or if you are found to have MORE items than allowed. You will be fined and not allowed to put out your clothing items. 

  • Place other items in designated areas.

  • Check back in at the inspection station to pick up your stamped items and put them out in the designated areas. 

  • If you are using the 5 item guarantee, take those items to the check in area.

  • Fill out the Large Item claim ticket for all items going into the Large item building.

  • Show your Consignor ID to the worker at the front door as you are leaving the main building.

  • Have your empty tubs and or boxes checked as you are leaving all buildings.

  • Once all items are out on the sales floor, you are done.

Pick-up

Pick up times are on Sunday night and  Monday after the event.  Select an appointment online.  All unsold items not picked up by the deadline will become the property of The Hippo Events LLC and may be donated.

Pick up Procedures

  • Check online to see what you have sold

  • Come inside the main building of the Fairgrounds

  • Check in with a worker

  • Be assigned a check out table

  • Check all other buildings

  • Check all areas

  • Place your items on your check out table

  • Once finished, a worker will double check all your items

  • Take items to your car

  • Pick up your check
